Kids hop in the driver’s seat and actually drive dozers, excavators and other heavy equipment with a professional operator at their side. Early years Dozer was formed in Borlänge, Sweden in 1995 by Tommi Holappa, Fredrik Nordin, Erik Bäckwall and Magnus Larsson, playing local youth. At the event, children can ride inside a wide variety of construction vehicles alongside a friendly certified machine operator, play in sandpits, participate in other fun activities, and enjoy great food from some delicious local food trucks. More info: ĭozer Day is like going on amusement park rides, except all the rides are REAL heavy construction equipment. Pre-purchased, electronic tickets for a time slot are required for this event. Dozer Day is an annual, community event hosted by the excavation industry to give kids an opportunity to operate heavy construction equipment and enjoy many.

Each ticket includes a complimentary Construction “Crew Bag” complete with Dozer Day cloth mask, branded merchandise, local deals and offerings, activities, plus a child-sized hard hat (collect stickers from the event sponsors to complete your hard hat!). In 1998 the band recorded a split EP with the American band Unida. In 1996 Magnus Larsson left and Johan Rockner joined the band.
Event attendees will be in timed ticketed groups as they wind through enriching displays of both static and “in-action” machines replicating the look and feel of a real construction zone and job site.
